About

Marco Guillermaz

Fractional product manager and AI builder, based in Milan. I work with founders, scaleups and enterprises who need senior product depth, and I ship the software to back it.

How I got here

I did not start in product. I started in QA, testing other people's software, which turned out to be the best training for building my own. You learn exactly where things break, and you stop trusting a feature until you have seen it survive real use.

I carried that into product. At Facile.it I was promoted from QA to the company's first product manager, and I have owned outcomes rather than tickets ever since. The part of the job I care about most is the team: good discovery and a clean roadmap matter, but the durable value is in giving developers a process that holds and helping them grow into real product owners.

These days that includes bringing AI-assisted development into how a team works day to day, with enough governance that it stays reviewable. And I build: the clearest example isStaff Manager, an internal platform I owned as product and code for 500-plus collaborators. Alongside client work I maintainTierward, an open-source scaffold for adopting AI coding tier by tier, with guardrails built in. MIT-licensed and on npm. The principle: Claude generates, your team decides.
